Survey on sharing data in times of crisis
UNESCO and CODATA are inviting global participation in a new survey on how organisations manage and share data during times of crisis. Building on UNESCO’s Open Science Toolkit, the survey examines how data policies are being implemented in practice – covering governance, ethics, infrastructure, and collaboration. The goal is to map current approaches, identify gaps, and strengthen responsible data sharing across borders when it matters most. The findings will help shape future guidance and capacity-building efforts to improve crisis preparedness and resilience through open science.
